Haygrowers group announces field day

The Northeast Washington Haygrowers' Association has announced the date of its annual spring field day.

The field day will begin with registration at 8:15 a.m. May 11. The program will begin at 8:45 a.m. The day will end after lunch at 1:30 p.m.

The event will focus on producing dairy-quality for age; state regulations for phenoxy herbicides, sprayer pressure and nozzle type; and calibrating field sprayers, backpacks and ATV sprayers.

The field day will be at Dairy Lane Farms, 42505 N. Dunn Road, Elk.

The cost is $10 and includes lunch.
