Baseball: Deaton's homer leads Ki-Be to victory

James Deaton hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give host Kiona-Benton a 4-3 baseball victory Thursday of a game that resumed two weeks later after it had called on account of darkness.

Ki-Be now has to play River View at Columbia-Burbank at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the winner earning the SCAC East No. 4 seed. The loser is out.
