Suspect arrested in Thunderbird Motel shooting

Tri-City HeraldMay 2, 2013

— Police arrested a Pasco man early Thursday morning in connection with an April 4 shooting at the Thunderbird Motel in Pasco.

Jose Isidro Cisneros, 27, was arrested at a house on the 200 Block of S. 22nd St. in Pasco by Pasco and Kennewick police.

Police have been searching for Cisneros since he allegedly shot three people with a sawed-off shotgun after an argument at the motel.

One of the victims had head trauma from the shooting and the other two victims received minor injuries, Pasco police Capt. Jim Raymond said.

Cisneros and the victims, who were staying in separate motel rooms, didn’t know each other and police are still investigating what their argument was over, Raymond said.

After the argument, police say Cisneros went back into his room and grabbed the shotgun before allegedly firing one shot at the victims.

Cisneros was arrested without incident and booked into the Franklin County jail.
