Letter: Musical fundraiser inspires audience

May 2, 2013

On April 26, I had the privilege of attending Richland High School's benefit performance of You Raise Me Up. This was a fundraiser for their music teacher Greg Fryhling. These students did an outstanding job of singing, dancing, and acting (drama and comedic). The orchestra was fantastic and each person put their heart and soul into their performances out of obvious love and respect for their teacher.

lease, let's continue to support all of the Tri-Cities schools performing arts programs and the students who participate.

Lastly, kudos to Directors Ellicia Mertens Elliott and Erin Dickey, Vocal Director Justin Raffa assisted by Greg Fryhling, Orchestra Director Jason Rose, Choreographer Anna Newberry, and Guest Soloist Bryan Foley who led the entire ensemble in an uplifting rendition of You Raise Me Up. Well done to all of you !
