May to be dry with near-normal temperatures in Tri-Cities

— Temperatures should be about normal for the month of May in the Tri-Cities, but expect less rain than usual, according to the National Weather Service.

April temperatures and precipitation were near normal.

Normal highs for Kennewick rise from 70 degrees at the start of May to 78 degrees at the end of the month.

Normal lows rise from 45 degrees to 53 degrees.

Normal precipitation for May is 0.64 inch.
