Track and Field: Thompkins wins 4 events for Waitsburg-Prescott

April 30, 2013 

District 7/9 meet: James Thompkins won four events, and Seth Deal and Kobie Brown two Tuesday as Waitsburg-Prescott cruised to the team title at Colfax High.

Thompkins won the 100, 200, 400 and ran on the 4x100 relay, while Brown also was on the relay and won the high jump. Deal brought home titles in the 1,600 and 3,200.

On the girls side, Dayton finished in ninth thanks to Kaitlyn Andrews. Andrews won the javelin and was third in the 100.
