A Kennewick business has stepped forward to help another eye clinic that burned on Saturday.

Kennewick Vision Care on Clearwater Avenue was destroyed in an early morning fire. On their website, optometrists Kevin Ayers and Jim Kintner said they are grateful to Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute for allowing them to use its building until their leased space is ready.

"We will be open to serve our patients on May 1 at 8200 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick," said the website. "We appreciate the outpouring of support from our patients and community."

They said they plan to rebuild and will be posting updates on their Facebook page and website, www.mykvc.com.

They expected their phone number, 735-1312, to be back in service today.
