Church prepares for Holy Week

Services for Eastern Orthodox Holy Week and Easter at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Pasco will be conducted by Bishop Anthimos of Olympos, Greece.

The schedule is:

April 28 -- Palm Sunday divine liturgy, 10 a.m.; Bridegroom service, 7 p.m.

April 29 and 30 -- Holy Monday and Tuesday, Bridegroom service, 7 p.m.

May 1 -- Holy Wednesday, Holy Unction service, 7 p.m.

May 2 -- Holy Thursday, divine liturgy of St. Basil, 9 a.m.; Passion and reading of the 12 Gospels service, 7 p.m.

May 3 -- Holy Friday, vespers, taking down Christ from the cross, noon; Lamentation service, 7 p.m.

May 4 -- Holy Saturday, divine liturgy of St. Basil, 9 a.m.; Resurrection orthros, 11 p.m.; Resurrection liturgy, midnight.

May 5 -- Holy Pascha (Easter) agape service, 11 a.m.

The church is at 627 E. Bonneville St., Pasco.
