Thankful Thursday: Badger Challenge volunteers provide 100 miles of fun

April 25, 2013

I want to thank the organizers and supporters of the recent Badger Mountain Challenge. What a great day it was! The weather was perfect and wildflowers were just beginning to tinge the mountainside with color. Water stops were spaced just right and were manned by volunteers who cheered us on with enthusiasm.

Thanks also to the private landowner who allowed us to use a portion of his land as a new and beautiful part of the route.

I appreciate the many who donated food, those who manned the food tables at the finish line and those who gave support in too many ways to mention.

This year's event was the best ever and I'm already looking forward to Badger Mountain Challenge 2014.
