Annual symposium bringing dollars to town

The annual State Sports Medicine Competition and Symposium is expected to bring more than 800 participants and $350,000 into the Tri-Cities, according to the Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau.

The event will run from today through Saturday at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.

Students will participate in written testing, oral practical skills testing, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, interviewing and CPR skills.
