Letter: Water park would give Tri-City kids healthy alternative to sitting inside

April 23, 2013

I would like to see the cities cooperate on building a water park. All too many people spend their summers avoiding the heat by staying inside all day. If you build a water park, people will spend their days outside in the sun.

If you want your kids to be smart and healthy, a water park will give them an activity that will be healthier than sitting inside all day and better for your brain than video games.

If you get together and build a water park, then the rewards will outweigh the consequences by a ton.
