WOMEN'S GOLF: CBC women win Spokane tournament

Led by Richland’s Hope Neidhold, the Columbia Basin College women won the Bigfoot Invitational women's golf tournament in Spokane on Monday.

Neidhold fired a two-round total of 169 (87-82) — first at Hangman Valley, then at Indian Canyon — while teammates Bri Hadler (181), Casey Tucker (183) and Janci Spoo (202) were right behind.

The Hawks had a team total of 533, topping runnerup Green River’s 537. Green River’s Madeleine Ottosson was medalist at 158.

w Kylie Kummer shot a 93 to lead three Othello golfers into the top spots as the Huskies ran away with a CWAC girls match at Othello GC.

The Huskies scored 404 strokes, well ahead of East Valley (469) and Selah (519)
