Freeze warning issued for Tri-Cities Monday night

April 22, 2013

— The Tri-Cities will be under a freeze warning from 11 p.m. Monday to 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to drop as low as 29 degrees, with the coldest temperatures between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m.

Clear skies and light winds are contributing to the predicted cold temperatures, according to the National Weather Service.

However, temperatures will be warming this week and skies will stay mostly clear.

Friday and Saturday highs could be just under 80 degrees in the Tri-Cities.
