New principal named for Delta High

Tri-City HeraldApril 19, 2013

Jenny Rodriquez, one of the founding teachers of Delta High School, will be the innovative school's principal come July 1.

Rodriquez currently teaches social studies at the science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, high school. She will take over for the school's original principal, Deidre Holmberg, who is becoming the planning principal for three new schools in the Pasco School District.

Delta High is jointly operated by the Pasco, Kennewick and Richland school districts. It has roughly 340 students and will graduate its first senior class in June. The school has been recognized for its work with students and as a model of STEM education.
