Kamiakin student places at photography event

By the Herald staffApril 18, 2013

Austin Saget, a Kamiakin High student, earned third place earlier this year in the Professional Photographers of Washington student of the year competition.

Saget, who is autistic, got into photography a few years ago when a neighbor gave him a camera. He learned more about photography from the late Ian McAdie, who owned and operated Sunland Camera in Richland.
