PROJECT Trio to perform in Walla Walla

PROJECT Trio, a Brooklyn-based chamber music ensemble, will perform in Walla Walla.

The trio consists of Greg Pattillo, a beat-boxing flutist; Eric Stephenson, a cellist and Peter Seymour, a bassist.

They are known for mixing classical music with jazz, hip-hop and other contemporary sounds, as well as for interpretations of artists including Beethoven, Thelonious Monk and Guns N' Roses.

Their YouTube channel, freedomworksfilms, has more than 75 million views and 80,000 subscribers.

A family concert with members of the Walla Walla Symphony and Youth Orchestra is at 2 p.m. April 20. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 12 and under are free.

They will also perform at 7:30 on April 20. Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for students and youth.

A third performance is 7:30 p.m. April 23. Tickets start at $16 for adults and $8 for youth and students.
