Police ID body found near railroad tracks in Pendleton

By the Herald staffApril 16, 2013

Pendleton police identified the body found Sunday near railroad tracks in Pendleton as Ben J. Windburn, 22.

The medical examiner who performed the autopsy wants to wait until lab reports are back before deciding how Windburn died, though he said the "medical probability" is that he died from hypothermia, according to a Pendleton Police Department release.

Toxicology reports take about eight weeks.
