Tri-City HeraldApril 16, 2013

— Three Hermiston residents were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of minors after police executed a search warrant on a Hermiston motel and found methamphetamine and marijuana inside along with four children, the Hermiston Police Department said.

The children ranged in age from an infant to six years old and the Department of Human Services took them into protective custody, according to a release.

Police smelled marijuana coming from a room at the Sunset Motel Monday night as they searched for Tarra K. Johnson, 24, who had a warrant for her arrest. When police got inside the motel room they found Johnson and two other males, Adam G. Saad, 21, and Rodney B. Virgil, 51, with the children, the release said.

The trio was also arrested on drug possession charges. Police did not say the amount of drugs that was recovered from the room.
