Kennewick — The Tri-Cities will be under a freeze warning Monday and Tuesday nights.
An upper level trough with a cold air mass is over the Tri-Cities and will move east Tuesday, but the cold air mass will linger, according to the National Weather Service.
The low Tuesday morning in the Tri-Cities is predicted to be 31 degrees and Wednesday morning the low could be about two degrees lower.
The high Tuesday should be about 58 degrees.
Wednesday temperatures should warm. The high in the Tri-Cities should be in the mid 60s Wednesday and the low Thursday morning should be about 40 degrees.
