Southridge sweeps Pasco in MCC girls softball twinbill

Sarah Gilliam went 4-for-8 on the day and picked up two wins to lead Southridge to a 13-0, 15-10 sweep of host Pasco in Mid-Columbia Conference action Thursday.

Gilliam struck out five and gave up just two hits in the opener, while Danielle Tolison went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs and Makensie Meyer drove in three runs.

The Suns were on the verge of ending the nightcap early, but the Bulldogs rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend the game.
