Arts, culture festival planned April 15-20

The Blue Mountain Community College Arts & Culture Festival is April 15-20 at various locations in Pendleton and Hermiston.

Festivities include a week of art, music, dance and discussion groups on various topics.

Featured music groups include Portland Cello Project and artist Debbie McIntosh.

There also will be a panel discussion sponsored by the Altrusa International group at 7 p.m. April 18 at the community college featuring author Michel Stone, Sheriff Terry Rowan, police officer Erica Sandoval, Melody Bustillos, Eddie De La Cruz, Mitch Thompson and George Anderson.

Blue Mountain Community College is at 2411 N. W. Carden Ave., Pendleton, with a branch campus at 975 S.E. Columbia Drive, Hermiston.
