More wind on the way for Tri-Cities

Gusting winds are expected to return Wednesday to the Tri-Cities, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds are expected to reach 21 to 26 mph by the afternoon, with some gusts as high as 37 mph. A 30 percent chance of rain is also expected, though high temperatures should be near 70.

Wednesday night will be breezy, with southwest winds decreasing to 14 to 19 mph in the evening.

Thursday should be sunny again with highs near 66 and winds dropping to 10 to 15 mph.
