Letter: U.S. going the way of Greece, thanks to politicians

April 9, 2013

I read about those do-nothing Republicans who might cause us to be like Greece. Most don't understand sequestration, we are not cutting anything. They are spending less of an increase in debt.

George Bush was called unpatriotic for a $500 billion debt. Since President Obama took office, the federal government has added $1.6 trillion in new debt. More than during the terms of all other presidents in history combined.

Wake up people and vote out all those who say that anyone can vote -- just show up, we don't care where you come from. Stand up for country, and yes, our God, and vote them all out.

Take back this nation of the people. We can't let lazy Republicans and Democrats or anyone else destroy what my father and yours worked so hard to build.

Why in the world do I have to show my identification to get a prescription filled or get a license and yet not to vote.

Don't let us go by the way of the rest of the planet. Why do you think everyone wants to come here? We are free and we give a lot of free stuff even if you're not legally in our country. Sometimes I think Congress and the president are illegal.
