Softball: Prosser rolls over Wapato

Prosser 19-22, Wapato 2-4: Brittany Keller went 6-for-6 with two triples, a home run and nine RBIs on the day as the host Mustangs rolled to a CWAC sweep.

Columbia Burbank 4-10, La Salle 3-5: Amber Holst laid down a suicide squeeze with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, bringing home Christina Reisenauer with the winning run in a 4-3 Game 1 win over the Lightning.

Brittany Cotsford struck out 14 batters for the Coyotes in the opener and helped her own cause by driving in two runs. She followed that up with seven strikeouts in Game 2, plus three stolen bases.

Adna 2-7, DeSales 1-2: Ali Zander scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh on Brittany Postlewait’s single, but the host Irish couldn’t hold on in nine innings in the opener.

Ashlyn Lyons went the distance in the circle for DeSales, striking out eight.
