Columbia Basin College will celebrate Arbor Day on Wednesday with tree plantings and T-shirts being given to volunteers.

Festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m. on the north steps of the HUB on the college's Pasco campus. Officials from Washington State University's Master Gardeners, Washington Division of Forestry and the city of Pasco will attend.

CBC has been certified as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation since 2009 and has been recertified four consecutive years.
