Letter: We're no different than Syria

April 5, 2013

I read that Obama warned the various nations in the Near East that extremists could fill leadership positions in Syria. That's a hoot! What's his problem? It seems to me that we did exactly that with our federal government in 2008 and 2102, and it works very well for him.

Next, Senator Murray poses the first Senate budget in four years, unsurprisingly including annual tax increases of a trillion dollars, increases over and above today's federal tax grab. The Senate's ultimate goal is evident, and I think it will happen, but we taxpayers need a short reprieve, we are taxed enough already.

The Fed, our Wizard of Oz, is constantly conjuring up trillions of worthless dollars, so why doesn't Murray simply propose to fund government annually on a cash basis using those worthless dollars? Then the Senate could cut all income taxes to zero, assuring continued extremist control of the Senate in 2014. It would facilitate the destruction of our economy, but that's consistent with their ultimate goal.

So maybe until 2015, all of us could live like the billionaire-politician coalescence now running federal government. Then comes repentance.
