Ski Bluewood to be open for skiing this weekend

Spring may officially be here but there's still plenty of snow at Ski Bluewood.

The Dayton-area ski park will be open to skiers this weekend with discounted ticket specials, according to a news release.

It's been a long time since the ski season lasted this long at the park and the snow base is estimated between 50 inches to 82 inches.

Saturday will be Appreciation Day with $30 lift tickets and the ability for pass holders to bring a friend for $1. All areas of the mountain will be open and available from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Party in the Park will be on Sunday. Only the terrain portion of the mountain will be open, but it will have new features. A $20 lift ticket will come with lunch and passes remain in effect.
