Park interpretation class offered

A National Park Service certified trainer will teach a three-day class this month on interpretation. The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center is offering the class in collaboration with the park service.

Deadline to register is Monday. Space is limited.

Marc Blackburn, a certified trainer with the park service, will teach the class April 11-13. It will include two days of lectures and one day visiting Sacajawea State Park, McNary National Wildlife Refuge and the Whitman Mission National Historic Site, said a Hanford Reach news release.

Cost is $130 per person and includes materials, lunch and bus tour.

Participants will receive certificates of completion signed by Blackburn. Call 943-4100 to register or for more information.
