Golf: Hanford cruises to Lee Dahlquist title

LEE DAHLQUIST: Hanford’s Zach Betzsold fired a 1-under-par 71 to earn medalist honors at the Lee Dahlquist Memorial golf tournament at AppleTree Golf Course in Yakima on Tuesday.

Betzsold — along with teammates Eric Dahl (75), Tanner Martin (76) and Thomas Hannu (77), who all finished in the top 10 — helped the Falcons win the team title easily with 299 strokes.

Gonzaga Prep was a distant second at 321.
