Tri-Cities Laboratory celebrates 1 million accident-free miles

TRI-CITY HERALD STAFFApril 2, 2013

Tri-Cities Laboratory of Kennewick recently celebrated its couriers' 1 million accident-free miles.

The lab's staff of 14 drivers uses a fleet of 12 vehicles to cover the Tri-Cities, Hanford, Connell, Pendleton, Hermiston, Walla Walla, Mattawa, Moses Lake and Ritzville, as well as daily trips to Spokane. They travel about 8,600 miles each week.

The 1 million safe miles were driven during the past 27 months from January 2011 through March 2013.

The medical reference laboratory serves physicians and patients in central and southeastern Washington.
