Tri-Cities Cancer Center offering cancer, nutrition session Friday

The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering a free information session on cancer and nutrition.

Dietitian Gretchen Millard will discuss the importance of good nutrition during cancer treatment.

She also will address how to design and keep a nutritional plan and the role of diet in relation to cancer risk.

Samples of some of Millard’s recommended recipes will be available.

The session is from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.

The event is the culminating project of Delta High School senior Cecily Bader.
