Auction to help ailing Renton teen set in Finley


A dinner and silent auction to help an ailing teen with ties to the Tri-Cities is 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Longbranch Bar and Grill, 230006 E. Highway 397, Finley.

Elizabeth Roy, 18, has germ cell cancer. She's been in intensive care at Seattle Children's Hospital with an infection resulting from chemotherapy. Roy lives in Renton but has numerous relatives in the Tri-City area.

Auction items range from free garbage dumps to two hours of attorney time to a salmon fishing trip.
