Western Oregon 6-0, Central Washington 4-3: Tyler Roberts threw a two-hit shutout to help the Wildcats avoid a Great Northwest Athletic Conference sweep at the hands of Western Oregon in Monmouth.
Roberts, a Southridge High graduate, walked three and struck out seven, while throwing seven strong innings to lead Central to the win.
Othello graduate Marc Garza was 4-for-9 with three RBIs, while Kyle Sani, a Southridge alum, hit a solo homer for the Wildcats.
Stanford 9, Washington State 3: Richland grad Brett Jacobs was 0-for-2 with a run and a walk, while Kennewick grad Trek Stemp was 0-for-4 with a run and a hit by pitch as the Cougars dropped a Pac-12 home game.
Washington State (15-10 overall, 2-3 league) led 3-2 after five, but Stanford exploded for seven runs in the final four innings.
Oregon State 14, San Diego 5: The Beavers banged out 18 hits to hammer the host Toreros in nonleague action.
Texas State 7, Seattle U. 5: Kamiakin grad Garrett Anderson (1-4) gave up five runs four earned in 3 1/3 innings pitched, taking the loss for the visiting Redhawks in San Marcos, Texas. Richland grad Connor Moore gave up a run in 2 1/3 innings of relief.
Corban 10-0, Concordia 2-1: Nate Williams, who played at CBC, was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in the opener of a doubleheader in Salem for host Corban.
Oregon 1, Washington 0: Tommy Thorpe struck out seven in eight shutout innings to lead the host Ducks to a Pac-12 victory.
Northwest Nazarene 8-8, Saint Martins 7-7: Hanford graduate Jeremy Burk struck out one in a scoreless inning of relief as the Crusaders scored seven times in the bottom of the seventh to erase a 7-1 deficit in Nampa, Idaho.
Mario Sanelli, a CBC alum, was 2-for-5 with two doubles, a run, an RBI and a walk in the opener for the Saints. He was 0-for-3 with a run in the nightcap.

Stanford Invitational: Washington State senior Andrew Gonzales, a Southridge graduate, finished seventh in 8 minutes, 58.37 seconds in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in California.
Saint Martins 6-5, Concordia 4-4: Kennewick High graduate Taylor Bakos allowed four runs in two innings while taking the Game 2 no decision. She was 1-for-3 at the plate in the opener in Lacey.
Pacific Lutheran 10-7, Willamette 2-2: Kennewick High grad Amanda Hall was 1-for-3 with two runs scored in the nightcap of a road doubleheader for the Vikings. Southridge grad Katie Lowery was 1-for-3.
