Ceramic exhibition opens April 8 in Pasco

By the Herald staffMarch 28, 2013

A collection of 12 large-scale ceramic sculptures by Oregon artist Peter Christian Johnson will go on exhibit April 8 through May 2 at the Esvelt Gallery on the Columbia Basin College campus in Pasco.

Johnson's work represents an abstracted suggestion of Mid-Columbia history from the relics of Hanford to those of Native Americans.

The artist will give a presentation about his work at 3 p.m. May 2 in room P-201 on the CBC campus. A reception will follow. There is no cost to attend.
