Richland's River's Edge High School will have its fourth annual Flying To Your Future event at the Richland Public Library today to help students set their future goals.

The event is offered through the school's Independent Learning Program, and there will be breakout sessions with community leaders, apprenticeship program representatives, the armed forces and higher education, according to a release from the Richland School District.

The keynote speaker will be Doug Crandall, a West Point graduate and instructor and former leader at Amazon.com. He is a nationally known speaker on leadership.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
