Richland students to display art in Olympia

Seventeen students from the Richland School District will have their art pieces in the state's high school art show after earning local awards.

All the students were given Judge's Choice Awards at the 40th annual Southeastern Washington High School Art Show at Columbia Basin College. The selected pieces will now be on display at the Old Capitol Building in Olympia from April 3 to May 30.

Winning students include:

Hanford High School: Shea Bradley, Shawn Brunner, Zoe Grate, Natasha Kvesic, Kaitlin Smith and Xie Xi.

Richland High School: Emily Bagley, Brenda Choi, Eleanor Eichen, Graceland Fine, Ashley Hampton, John Larsen, Abbey McMinn, Chris Older, Eddie Osborn, Lauren Perry and Matt Powers.
