Refocus ' Waterfront property' Choose the right place

Regarding the suggestion of building up the riverfront in Pasco: great idea -- wrong location!

I've lived here for 13 years, and have always thought the riverfront was a wasted economic resource. Travel to San Antonio or Oklahoma City and see what they've done. They have revitalized an area with their natural or manufactured waterfront and it's beautiful and thriving.

The problem with the location in east Pasco, (east of the cable bridge) is who really wants to travel into an area with the highest crime rate in the Tri-Cities?

If Pasco wants to build up the riverfront, build it in the north area, where it's not already trashed. That, by the way, could complement a new bridge in that very same area.
