Tri-Cities Encounter on tap in Kennewick

St. Patrick's Parish will hold the Tri-Cities Encounter 2013: A Place for Us on March 16-17 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick. The event features music, dance and guest speakers, including Monsignor Eduardo Chavez from Mexico City, who will talk about why Our Lady of Guadalupe is important to not only those of Mexican descent but to all Americans as well.

Also performing will be the Mid-Columbia Symphony, the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers, the Mid-Columbia Ballet, Skweez the Weezle Celtic band, the Mid-Columbia Regional Pipe and Drum Corps and pianist Jeremy Neufeld.

Admission is free. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 16 and from noon to 6 p.m. March 17.
