Kennewick — Police are searching for a vehicle that crashed into a house early Thursday in Kennewick.

The newer model, white, full-size truck smashed into a garage door at 4401 W. Seventh St., after hitting a stop sign when it lost control turning off of South Union Street, the Kennewick Police Department said. The collision caused significant damage to the garage door.

Police said the truck was last seen fleeing the area westbound on Seventh Street and it should have “significant front end damage.”
