Letter: Benton City writer has four things he wants you to know

Published: March 13, 2013

I only have four points to make.

1. Many politicians have armed security to protect their family and lives. These security details have high capacity magazines and powerful weapons. Is it right to tell you that your family isn't worth the same as their families?

2. The sequester is not a cut in government spending. Our government runs on a base line spending that increases 8 percent to 10 percent per year. The sequester will cut the increase in future spending and not affect anyone. It is a scare tactic. Obama introduced the idea of a sequester, Congress agreed, Obama signed it into law and now blame the Republicans because of their resistance to new taxes. Another administrative lie.

3. If I were a cartoonist, I would use a caption with the national debt, draw a picture of a young child breaking his piggy bank for a few cents, dumping it on the government table with the feds saying, you still owe $52,346.86. What a concept.

4. The lies that are being fed to the population are called propaganda. Propaganda is telling the same lie over and over , loud enough, until the people believe it.

Stop and look at what is happening, research it.
