Tritium production to be discussed at meeting

The production of tritium will be discussed at the March 19 meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society.

Cheryl Thornhill will speak. She manages the Nuclear Systems Design, Engineering and Analysis group in Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's National Security Directorate and has been the manager of the tritium technology program since 2001.

She will speak at 7 p.m. at the Shilo Inn, Richland. There is no cost to attend her talk, but those wanting to attend the dinner an hour earlier will be charged $22 and should make reservations by 4 p.m. Friday by calling 366-9632.
