River View softball topples La Salle in nonleague twinbill

Ashley Dickinson went 5-for-8 on the day with six RBIs, two doubles and a triple as River View pounded La Salle 23-2 and 15-0 in a nonleague doubleheader in Finley.

Both games were called after La Salle batted in the top of the fourth because of the 10-run mercy rule.

River View’s Jessica Burrus was 5-for-5 with five RBIs, a double and two triples, while Kaylee Lozier, Aleah Wright and Rachel Doran limited La Salle to eight hits in the doubleheader.
