Raising awareness of domestic violence

BY THE TRI-CITY HERALDMarch 8, 2013

Domestic Violence Services of Benton and Franklin County have partnered with area coffee houses to raise awareness of domestic violence.

Participating coffee houses will be distributing cups with stickers on the sleeves that share ideas about how people can talk about domestic violence.

Mochamotive, Mocha Express, Espresso World, Brulant Espresso Bar, The Rail Espresso and Deli and the Kennewick Flower Shop in Kennewick, as well as Grand Central Coffee Station in Pasco and the Coffee Bean in Richland, are all participating.

Tri-City Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
