Benton County Sheriff's investigating early-morning home invasion robbery

Published: March 5, 2013

— Three to five unknown suspects forced their way into a Benton County home, beat the three occupants with clubs and then robbed them early this morning, police said.

The suspects, all wearing masks, fled the 700 block of East 13th Avenue south of Kennewick in a dark colored four-door sedan, according to a news release from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

It appears drugs may be a contributing factor in the 2:17 a.m. home invasion robbery, police said. The victims suffered some injuries, but all refused medical treatment, police said.

Benton County Sheriff's deputies and detectives are investigating.

“Due to the nature and severity of the crime no further information is available,” police said in the release.
