Kennewick police plan annual citizen academy

KENNEWICK -- The Kennewick Police Department will hold its annual Citizen's Police Academy starting March 26.

The class meets from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays for five weeks. Participants learn about patrol procedures, criminal investigations, crime prevention, gangs, police dogs and the department's volunteer program.
