Tech expert Alben to talk analog vs. digital in Richland

RICHLAND -- Technology expert Alex Alben will discuss how technology is shaping communication, politics and media at 7 p.m. Thursday at Washington State University Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.

Alben is the author of Analog Days: How Technology Rewrote Our Future. He will talk about the "analog" and "digital" cultures in the United States, and whether the analog culture can survive in a digital age.
