Baroque carnival event set for Monday in Pasco

PASCO -- Community Concerts of the Tri-Cities will present A Baroque Carnival by the Red Priest quartet starting at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the auditorium at the Faith Assembly church, 1800 Road 72, Pasco.

Red Priest is an acoustic quartet that plays a mix of recorders, violin, cello and harpsichord, and are noted for their flamboyant, theatrical and virtuosic style.

They use props, costumes, dramatic lighting and other effects to entertain audiences. The program includes original music by Vivaldi, Bach and others.

Admission is by season ticket to the Community Concerts or individual tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students.
