Kennewick — A driver reportedly under the influence of drugs and alcohol backed into a Kennewick police car just before 4 p.m. today, police said.
Kennewick police told the Herald the driver pulled over to the side of the road and then accidentally backed into the cop car near Rainier Street and Seventh Avenue.
A passenger in the car was arrested on an outstanding warrant, police said.
The crash caused minor damage to the police car's passenger front fender, police said.
