The irrational agenda of some conservatives in the Mid-Columbia is fascinating. Their unabashed hatred of gays, love of guns, and denial of global warming is laughable and curious at the same time.
People continue to die from weapons that no regular citizen should own, and what do they do? Buy every type of this weapon and all of the ammo in the region. Do I ever feel safer knowing the gun nuts in this town have faster ways to kill people.
What rational people are asking for is reasonable gun regulations. Besides, if the government was trying to take your guns, do you think your little assault rifle will protect you from its arsenal? So keep using God as an excuse to hate the gays, horde your guns, and use whatever ridiculous excuses you have to deny global warming and overwhelming scientific evidence.
Each election cycle, I laugh at the local results that get basically ignored because of the other side of the state, while you continue to be on the wrong side of history. Keep it up; being wrong this often is actually impressive.
