Why do Americans want to protect their Second Amendment rights?
The Patriot Act: warrantless wiretaps monitoring Americans, expanded under this administration.
The Stimulus Act: tracks credit card purchases to spy on Americans.
A bill through Congress that allows the U.S. military to arrest, confine and detain indefinitely Americans based on suspicion without evidence.
Now we hear about the order that allows the administration the right to kill American citizens without due process.
The Second Amendment was written so Americans could protect themselves from tyrannical government, foreign or domestic (see George Mason).
This administration continues to attack our Constitution because it doesn't believe in it. I believe in keeping it as our law of the land.
I don't own an AK47/AR15, and that's OK. I know how to get one. I just need to go to Mexico and buy one from the Department of Justice, wait for the Border Patrol to look the other way and sneak it back in.
Before they take guns of law-abiding citizens away, they need to prosecute the officials who are breaking laws and refusing to protect our rights.
I wonder if we should be concerned.
